As an Associate Consultant at Magi, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our management team. Your contributions will directly influence the success of our projects and the value we provide to our clients.
Responsibilities
1. Research Support:
- Conduct comprehensive secondary research by utilizing internet resources and published data.
- Conduct primary research by engaging with government departments, regulatory bodies, and advisors to gather valuable insights and information.
- Stay updated on sectors and industries of interest to provide critical data for decision-making.
2. Client Engagement and Business Development:
- Collaborate with the client engagement and business development team to support senior consultants in project implementation.
- Assist in the development of market entry strategies, business plans, financial modeling, and fund-raising initiatives.
- Participate in feasibility studies, location assessments, and financial planning.
3. Consulting Assignments:
You will be involved in consulting assignments in the following areas:
- Developing business strategy, business planning, financial models and projections.
- India entry strategy and implementation, including market studies, legal structuring, M&A, and ongoing relationship management.
- Preparation of financial models, valuation models, investment proposals, pitch decks, and presentations.
- Transaction advisory, including deal origination, due diligence, and transaction management (buy and sell-side).
- Business transformation, including turnaround strategy and implementation support.
- Regulatory approvals, compliance, and governance.
4. Other Aspects of Consulting:
- Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of knowledge-driven marketing campaigns, including monthly newsletters.
- Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment, with a strong focus on delivering results.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in a management consulting firm.
- MBA preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with open-source project management tools.
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated capability in managing client relationships.
